For anyone who has an interest in French Uniforms for the 1914 period then this is the book of all books. Very detailed through out including horse furniture. For me personally, I was not sure of ranks, kepi colours and various other small kit that was not available in my other books. This book offers this information along with other very interesting items.

Highly recommended to all interested folks an especially to Soapy in particular who may need further information when designing the miniatures. The second book covering 1915 to 1918 should be out this year.Inside the book it shows the book cover for the second volume.
